How are Smart Glasses and Smart Watches changing intermodal travelling in future? Guide2Wear analyzes, if there are differences in the combination of transportation modes in Germany, Austria, Spain and Sweden.

Background

In future, will we travel with directions in our Google Glass our smartwatch? If yes, a European consortium is analyzing and developing solutions for intermodal routing. InnoZ and further partners from Germany (Fraunhofer IVI), Austria (Universität für Bodenkultur Wien and FACTUM), Belgium (Transport & Mobility Leuven), Sweden (VTI) and Spain (Codesyntax/ Tecnalia) develop an app for intermodal routing, which is optimized for the use of wearable devices.

InnoZ and modalyzer are responsible for the evaluation of intermodal mobility behavior in multiple European cities.
